What is College Week Live??

This virtual college fair gives students the opportunity to correspond with college counselors about everything from college entrance exams to college sports. Students can also log onto the site for interactive seminars on numerous topics, including writing college essays and interviews with experts on student aid and admissions strategies.

After Hours Online Class SIGN UP!

If you currently do not have an online class and you'd like one, Mrs. Streu can give you an "After Hours Online" class. You can work on this class anytime you have a few extra minutes AND internet! If you'd like a class...click HERE to get signed up!

 

Here's the fine print (there is always some fine print!): ANY full-time student who is passing all classes can sign up for After Hours online classes! You work on them anywhere you have Internet access--evenings, weekends, holidays, whenever! You are allowed to have ONE class at a time. If you finish the first class--you may request another one! Please note, though, if at any time you do NOT have all passing grades for hours 1-8 (meaning, A, B, C, and D grades) your After Hours Online Class may be SUSPENDED until you bring your grades up. These courses are not intended to replace your hours 1-8 schedule--they are intended to supplement it! FINALLY--YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED VIA EMAIL WHEN A CLASS IS ADDED TO YOUR SCHEDULE! It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to check your school email to watch for any updates.

Who is Mrs. Streu?

Lori

 

Mrs. Lori Streu has been with Liberty Academy since 2008. She has nearly 16 years of experience as a K-12 school counselor. Mrs. Streu has her Educational Specialist degree in School Counseling from the University of Missouri--Kansas City and she is also a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Missouri State Certified Parent/Adolescent mediator. She loves all areas of school counseling but she is especially interested in career exploration and helping students identify a good career path that fits their values, interests, personality, and skill level.

A+ Students: Need to retake the Algebra I EOC for a higher score?

Juniors and Seniors may apply for Vo-Tech training in conjunction with Excelsior Springs Area Career Center and Northland Career Center (Platte City). Vocations offered include: Automotive Technology, Building Trades, Computer Assisted Drafted (CAD), Electric Trades, Health Services, HVAC, Computer Support/Maintenance, Culinary Arts, Industrial Welding, Diesel Technology, Crime Scene Investigation, and Early Childhood Careers.

Student Athlete Information...

To participate in Athletics or any other Missouri State High School Association activities (all athletics, including cheerleading & pom, academic competitions, Debate and Forensics, district or state music contests (Band or Vocal), and theatre competitions) *you must pass six (6) credit-earning classes in the semester preceding competition and be enrolled in six (6) credit-earning classes during the semester of competition!
